Mastering Basic Stitches and Seams
Objective: Learn and practice essential stitches and seams.
Topics Covered will include:
Straight stitch, backstitch, zigzag stitch.
Understanding seam allowances.
Basic seams: plain seam, French seam, and finishing edges.
Activity: Participant will be guided to make a simple envelope pillowcase. This will enable them to practise measuring, cutting fabric, and sewing various seams whil completing the project.
